Help us honor this milestone!
In 1964, a small group of parents and community partners
came together and established The Resource Exchange to support people with
disabilities to remain within their own community. They had a vision for their
children with disabilities to thrive within their own community rather than
being moved to institutions, a standard practice back then. These family
members did not know what the future would look like today, but they created
the ripples that enabled a future where more than 12,000 individuals are served
by TRE and are able to live, work, play, and contribute to their community.
This is a great achievement, and yet there is so much more to be accomplished.
For our 60th Anniversary, imagine an intricately designed commemorative art piece that not only pays homage to our generous supporters but also exuberantly celebrates the profound impact their support has on the TRE community. Together, let's chart a course for sustained growth, propelling TRE into a future marked by 60 more years of unprecedented success. Join us in this invigorating endeavor as we honor, celebrate, and breathe new life into the dynamic spirit of The Resource Exchange!
